Abstract : With the successful entry into WTO and Olympic Games’bid , China has madecontinuous progress in tourism. More and more foreign tourists are coming to visit the ancient China. One of the main purposes for them to be in China is to sightsee the interests ofplaces and local customs. In view of that , the translation of scenic spots for the personnelinvolved in tourism has been of fair importance. This article focuses on the translation ofChinese scenic spots and the means of translation and its application as well .
